Chanel Beebe is a self-taught abstract multimedia artist. Primarily using oils and acrylics, Chanel's work attempts to bring unspoken nuance into image often using symbols and color to represent action, meaning or experience. Founder and CEO of Beebe Arts LLC, Chanel's artistry is one of the many outlets for her creativity and drive to address social and educational equity. With her art and company, Chanel brings conversation and programming to her hometown (Detroit, MI) and other cities across the globe.
Chanel’s work centers vulnerable populations and creates spaces to discuss and address marginalized and silenced experiences.

Artist Statement
“I am attempting to make ideas and silent truths loud and nosy so that we have to deal with them. I use paint, words, symbols and perception to create experiences that hopefully change your pace of looking and being. In that sense, my art is a pacemaker… something with rhythm to help you feel.”
